India, June 12 -- Copper futures edged up by 0.12% to Rs 243.30 per kilogram on Thursday, supported by strong demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), July delivery copper contracts rose by 30 paise or 0.12% to Rs 243.30 per kg, with a turnover of 1,167 lots.
Analysts attributed the price uptick to increased buying by market participants amid improved demand from consuming sectors.
