India, Oct. 3 -- Copper futures climbed 1.82% to Rs 980.10 per kg on Friday, supported by robust spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, November delivery contracts gained Rs 17.50 to trade at Rs 980.10 per kg, with a turnover of 1,088 lots.
Analysts said the uptick was driven by increased participant activity and stronger buying interest.
