India, April 22 -- Copper futures on Tuesday rose 0.18 per cent to Rs 850.50 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery grew Rs 1.55 or 0.18 per cent to Rs 850.50 per kg in a business turnover of 5,547 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
