India, June 23 -- Copper futures climbed 0.07% to Rs 885.75 per kilogram on Monday, supported by improved demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for July delivery rose by 60 paise, or 0.07%, reaching Rs 885.75 per kg, with a business volume of 4,950 lots.
Analysts attributed the price increase to higher participation and fresh bets by traders.
