India, Oct. 31 -- Copper prices slipped by Rs 1.50 to Rs 1,010.25 per kilogram on Friday in futures trade, as traders trimmed positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper futures for November delivery fell by Rs 1.50, or 0.15%, to Rs 1,010.25 per kg with a business turnover of 9,636 lots.

Analysts said the decline was mainly due to reduced participation and lower demand from consuming industries.
