India, July 30 -- Copper futures declined by 0.07 per cent to Rs 898.95 per kilogram on Wednesday, as traders trimmed their positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for August delivery slipped by 65 paise to Rs 898.95 per kilogram, with a trading volume of 5,311 lots.

Analysts attributed the price dip to reduced interest and lower positioning by market participants.
