India, March 2 -- Copper futures advanced by Rs 1.50 to Rs 1,245 per kg on Monday, supported by improved demand in the physical market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for April delivery rose Rs 1.50, or 0.12 per cent, to Rs 1,245 per kg, with a turnover of 269 lots.
Market analysts said the uptick in prices was driven by fresh positions built by traders amid stronger spot demand.
