India, Nov. 12 -- Copper prices gained 0.02 per cent to Rs 1,016 per kilogram in futures trade on Wednesday, supported by improved demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for December delivery rose by 20 paise, or 0.02 per cent, to Rs 1,016 per kg with a business turnover of 3,296 lots.
Analysts said the slight uptick in prices was driven by fresh positions built up by participants amid stronger spot market demand.
