India, Aug. 12 -- Copper prices gained 0.24% to Rs 891.75 per kilogram in futures trade on Tuesday, supported by stronger spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, September copper contracts rose Rs 2.15, or 0.24%, to Rs 891.75 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,577 lots.
Analysts said the uptick was driven by increased buying activity from market participants.
