India, June 9 -- Copper futures rose by 0.11% to Rs 880.45 per kilogram on Monday, supported by improved demand in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for July delivery gained 90 paise to trade at ?880.45 per kg, with a turnover of 988 lots.

Analysts said the uptick in prices was driven by increased buying interest from market participants.
