India, May 5 -- Copper futures rose by 0.41% to ?847.80 per kilogram on Monday, driven by increased spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, June delivery contracts gained Rs 3.45, or 0.41%, reaching Rs 847.80 per kg, with a trading volume of 645 lots.

Analysts attributed the price increase to heightened buying interest from market participants.
