India, Dec. 2 -- Copper futures declined on Tuesday, slipping Rs 5.15 to Rs 1,053 per kg, as traders cut their positions amid weak demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), January copper contracts fell 0.49%, or Rs 5.15, to Rs 1,053 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,403 lots.
Analysts said the downturn was primarily driven by reduced speculative bets and subdued demand from consuming industries.
