India, Aug. 5 -- Copper prices declined by 40 paise to Rs 891.50 per kilogram in Tuesday's futures trade, as traders trimmed their positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for September delivery slipped 0.04% or 40 paise to Rs 891.50 per kg, with a trading volume of 1,275 lots.
Analysts attributed the price drop to reduced participation and weak market sentiment.
