India, July 29 -- Copper futures declined by 90 paise to Rs 895.45 per kilogram on Tuesday, as traders trimmed their positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), August delivery contracts slipped 90 paise or 0.1% to Rs 895.45 per kg, with a trading volume of 7,221 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in prices to reduced participation and lower interest from buyers.
