India, Oct. 29 -- Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, visited Brussels from October 26–28, 2025, where he held extensive discussions with Mr. Maros Sefcovic, European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security, on key outstanding issues related to the ongoing India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations.

Both sides reiterated their commitment to conclude the FTA by the end of 2025, in line with the guidance provided by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and European Commission President Ms. Ursula von der Leyen during the Commission's visit to New Delhi in February 2025.
