India, May 9 -- In a major push toward cleaner energy solutions, the Ministry of Coal has signed the Coal Gasification Plant Development and Production Agreement (CGPDPA) with selected applicants under Category II of the Coal Gasification Financial Incentive Scheme. This category includes projects from both private companies and public sector undertakings.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Shri Sanoj Kumar Jha, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal; Shri Asheesh Kumar, OSD (Technical); and Shri B.K. Thakur, Director (Technical), Ministry of Coal.
The selected entities under Category II include:
Jindal Steel and Power Limited
New Era Cleantech Solution Private Limited
Greta Energy and Metal Private Limited
