India, April 23 -- In a significant step towards digital healthcare modernization, the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, is set to launch a next-generation Health Management Information System (HMIS) on 28th April 2025. Developed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), this advanced platform replaces the legacy software in use since 2005, addressing current technological, cybersecurity, and user experience demands.
