India, March 9 -- The sixth edition of Lineman Diwas was celebrated in New Delhi by the Central Electricity Authority under the Ministry of Power, in collaboration with Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited. The event recognised the dedication and vital contributions of linemen and ground maintenance staff who ensure reliable electricity supply across the country.
The ceremony was attended by Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy; Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power); and Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairperson of CEA, along with senior officials and stakeholders from the power sector.
