India, April 22 -- The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the proposed acquisition of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited's operations in North Gujarat and the Union Territory of Diu by Kandhari Global Beverages Private Limited.
Kandhari Global Beverages, an authorized bottler for The Coca-Cola Company and Schweppes Holdings Limited, currently manages the supply and distribution of non-alcoholic beverages (NAB) in Rajasthan. The Target Business involves the preparation, packaging, supply, and distribution of NAB products in the specified regions.
This acquisition forms part of the proposed combination between the Acquirer and the Target Business.
