India, June 16 -- Capri Global Capital Limited (Capri Loans), a leading non-banking financial company, has successfully raised Rs 2,000 crore in equity capital through a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP), marking its first such fundraise in a decade. The funds were raised by issuing approximately 13.65 crore equity shares to Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), in accordance with SEBI's ICDR Regulations.

The QIP garnered strong interest from a wide range of institutional investors, including foreign and domestic long-only funds, mutual funds, and insurance companies.
