India, May 2 -- Bhupendra Gupta, Director (Technical) at THDCIL, has been assigned additional responsibility as the Chairman and Managing Director of SJVN Ltd for a period of three months, the state-owned company announced on Friday.
The appointment is effective from May 1, 2025, and will remain in place until a full-time CMD is appointed or until further notice, whichever comes first, as per a regulatory filing.
The filing also clarified that Gupta has no familial ties with any member of SJVN's board of directors.
