India, Feb. 2 -- The bank reported standalone net profit of Rs 1,866.51 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 1151.01 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 62.16 per cent.
Interest income of the bank rose by 19.57 per cent at Rs 15217.98 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 as against Rs 12727.75 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During the October-December quarter, total income rose moderately by 15.90 per cent to Rs 16,411.10 crore from Rs 14,159.60 crore in the year ago period.
Meanwhile, operating expenses increased by 27.62 per cent to Rs 13,410.16 crore from Rs 10,507.67 crore in the same period last year.
