India, July 2 -- Aurobindo Pharma has announced the merger of its wholly owned step-down subsidiary Pharmacin B.V. with its parent company Agile Pharma B.V., also a wholly owned step-down subsidiary. The merger took effect on July 1, 2025. Both entities are incorporated in the Netherlands.
According to a regulatory filing, the merger aims to strengthen Agile Pharma's operational base by integrating Pharmacin's business activities and employees, while also reducing regulatory and compliance costs.
For the financial year ended March 31, 2025, Pharmacin B.V. reported a turnover of ?197.9 million, while Agile Pharma B.V. recorded ?66.4 million.
