India, Aug. 22 -- Ashoka Buildcon Limited has received a contract valued at Rs 499.95 crore (including GST) from The President of India, acting through the CEE/Project/NWR, North Western Railway, Jaipur.
The project involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning for upgradation of the existing electric traction system from 1x25 kV to 2x25 kV, along with modification of the existing overhead equipment (OHE) to enable train speeds of up to 160 kmph.
The scope covers the RE-AWR-BKI, BKI-JP, JP-FLMD, and RE-RGS-FL sections of Jaipur Division, spanning 581.43 RKM / 1210.82 TKM.
