India, April 9 -- Aluminium prices edged lower on Thursday, with futures declining by Rs 1.35 to Rs 354.45 per kg as participants trimmed positions amid a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for May delivery fell Rs 1.35, or 0.38 per cent, to Rs 354.45 per kg, with a business turnover of 38 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to reduced positions by traders amid easing demand from consuming industries.
