India, May 27 -- Aluminium prices dropped by Rs 1.15 to Rs 235.85 per kilogram on Tuesday, as traders reduced their positions amid a sluggish trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), June delivery contracts fell by 0.49% to RS 235.85 per kg, with a volume of 4,310 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline to reduced demand from key consuming industries, prompting participants to cut down their holdings.
