India, Dec. 30 -- Aluminium prices rose on Tuesday, gaining Rs 3.90 to Rs 294.10 per kilogram in futures trade, as speculators built fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium for January delivery advanced by Rs 3.90, or 1.34 per cent, to Rs 294.10 per kg, with a business turnover of 4,495 lots.
Analysts said the rise in aluminium futures was supported by fresh buying from traders, driven by demand from consuming industries and improved sentiment in the physical market.
