India, Dec. 12 -- Aluminium futures rose 10 paise to Rs 283.60 per kg on Friday, as traders built fresh positions supported by a positive spot market trend.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), January aluminium contracts gained 0.04% to Rs 283.60 per kg, with a turnover of 1,017 lots.
Analysts noted that renewed buying interest from speculators, coupled with steady demand from consuming industries, helped lift aluminium prices in the futures trade.
