India, Dec. 3 -- Aluminium futures rose on Wednesday, gaining Rs 2.10 to Rs 278.25 per kg, as traders added fresh positions supported by a firm trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, January aluminium contracts advanced Rs 2.10, or 0.76%, to Rs 278.25 per kg in 2,988 lots.
Analysts said increased buying from consuming industries and fresh speculative interest boosted prices.
