India, May 13 -- Aluminium prices rose by Rs 1.05 to Rs 239.30 per kilogram in futures trading on Tuesday, driven by fresh buying amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for June delivery climbed ?1.05, or 0.44%, to ?239.30 per kg, with a turnover of 955 lots.
Analysts attributed the price increase to the buildup of fresh positions by traders, supported by steady demand from key consuming industries.
