India, Oct. 31 -- Aluminium prices rose by 60 paise to Rs 270.85 per kilogram on Friday in futures trade, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium for November delivery increased by Rs 0.60, or 0.45%, to Rs 270.85 per kg in a business turnover of 3,846 lots.
Analysts attributed the uptick to renewed buying by traders and steady demand from consuming industries, which supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
