India, Dec. 11 -- Aluminium prices rose Rs 1.65 to Rs 280.95 per kg in domestic futures trade on Thursday, as speculators built fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium for January delivery increased by 0.59% to Rs 280.95 per kg, with a turnover of 983 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise to renewed buying by traders and firm demand from consuming industries, which supported prices in the futures market.
