India, Dec. 8 -- Aluminium futures edged higher on Monday, rising Rs 1.10 to Rs 282.60 per kg as traders created fresh positions amid improving spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the January delivery contract gained 0.39 percent to Rs 282.60 per kg, with a turnover of 515 lots.
Analysts said increased buying from consuming industries and fresh positioning by participants supported the uptrend in aluminium prices.
