India, Aug. 12 -- Aluminium prices rose by 95 paise to Rs 254.40 per kilogram in futures trade on Tuesday as traders built fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, September aluminium contracts climbed 95 paise, or 0.37%, to Rs 254.40 per kg, with a business turnover of 522 lots.
Analysts said the rise was supported by renewed buying from traders, driven by demand from consuming industries.
