India, Aug. 14 -- Aluminium prices rose 40 paise to Rs 254.90 per kilogram in futures trade on Thursday as speculators created fresh positions, tracking a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), September delivery contracts climbed 40 paise, or 0.16%, to Rs 254.90 per kg in a turnover of 690 lots.
Analysts said increased buying by traders, driven by demand from consuming industries, supported prices in the futures market.
