India, Nov. 7 -- Aluminium prices inched higher on Friday as traders built fresh positions amid firm demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium for November delivery rose Rs 0.25, or 0.09%, to Rs 272 per kilogram in a turnover of 3,134 lots.

Analysts said the renewed buying by participants and steady demand from consuming industries supported prices in futures trade.
