India, July 18 -- Aluminium prices rose by 80 paise to Rs 250.25 per kilogram in futures trade on Friday, as traders built fresh positions amid a firm trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for August delivery gained 80 paise, or 0.32%, to Rs 250.25 per kg, with a trading volume of 1,889 lots.
Analysts attributed the uptick to renewed buying by speculators, driven by steady demand from consuming industries.
