India, Jan. 1 -- Aluminium prices in the futures market rose marginally on Thursday to Rs 297.20 per kg, as market participants largely remained on the sidelines amid subdued trading activity.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for January delivery gained 25 paise, or 0.08 per cent, to trade at Rs 297.20 per kg, with a business turnover of 4,430 lots.
Market participants said the slight uptick was driven by limited buying at lower levels, although overall sentiment stayed cautious due to the absence of fresh global cues.
