India, Aug. 5 -- Aluminium prices rose by 45 paise to Rs 252.65 per kilogram in Tuesday's futures trade, as traders built fresh positions amid a firm trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for September delivery gained 0.18% or 45 paise, reaching Rs 252.65 per kg in a total of 285 lots.
According to analysts, the uptick in prices was driven by renewed buying from traders, supported by steady demand from consuming industries.
