India, July 10 -- Aluminium prices rose by 25 paise to ?250.55 per kilogram in futures trading on Thursday, as traders created fresh positions amid a firm trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for August delivery climbed by 0.1%, or 25 paise, to ?250.55 per kg in a volume of 438 lots.

According to analysts, renewed buying interest driven by steady demand from consuming industries contributed to the uptick in aluminium futures.
