India, May 28 -- Aluminium prices rose by 15 paise to 239.05 rupees per kilogram in Wednesday's futures trade as traders created fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, June delivery contracts increased by 15 paise or 0.06 percent to 239.05 rupees per kg, with a turnover of 4,378 lots.

Analysts said the price rise was supported by renewed demand from consuming industries and fresh bets by market participants.
