India, July 23 -- Aluminium prices fell by Rs 1.25 to Rs 254.85 per kilogram in futures trading on Wednesday, as traders reduced their positions amid a sluggish trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for August delivery declined by 0.49% to Rs 254.85 per kg, with a trading volume of 2,703 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline to reduced buying interest, driven by subdued demand from key consuming industries.
