India, June 9 -- Aluminium prices slipped by 55 paise to Rs 237.25 per kilogram in futures trading on Monday, as traders pared their positions amid sluggish demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium for July delivery declined by 0.23% to Rs 237.25 per kg in 4,222 lots.
According to analysts, the price drop was primarily driven by reduced demand from consuming industries, prompting participants to scale back their exposure.
