India, July 28 -- Aluminium prices slipped by 15 paise to Rs 254.05 per kilogram in futures trading on Monday, as traders reduced their positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for August delivery declined by 15 paise or 0.06% to Rs 254.05 per kg, with a volume of 4,332 lots.
Analysts attributed the price decline to lower demand from consuming industries, prompting participants to pare down their holdings.
