India, April 8 -- Aluminium prices slipped by 90 paise to Rs 233.05 per kilogram on Tuesday in the futures market, as traders reduced their positions amid a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for May delivery dropped by 0.38% to Rs 233.05 per kg, with 1,356 lots traded.
Analysts attributed the decline to subdued demand from consuming industries, prompting participants to scale back their exposure.
