India, June 27 -- Aluminium prices slipped by 45 paise to Rs 247.70 per kilogram in futures trade on Friday, as traders reduced their positions amid a sluggish trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the July delivery contract fell by 0.18% to Rs 247.70 per kg, with a trading volume of 4,125 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to weak demand from key consuming industries, prompting participants to pare down their holdings.
