India, March 11 -- On Tuesday, aluminium prices dropped by 10 paise to Rs 263.30 per kilogram in the futures market as traders reduced their positions amid a sluggish trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for April delivery fell by 10 paise, or 0.04%, to Rs 263.30 per kg across 658 lots.
Analysts attributed the price decline to participants trimming their holdings due to reduced demand from consuming industries.
