India, Dec. 18 -- Aluminium prices slipped in futures trade on Thursday, falling Rs 1.15 to Rs 283.70 per kg, as participants pared their positions amid a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for January delivery declined by Rs 1.15, or 0.4 per cent, to Rs 283.70 per kg, with trading volume of 2,283 lots.
Analysts said prices were pressured by reduced buying interest, as easing demand from consuming industries prompted traders to cut positions.
