India, July 29 -- Aluminium futures fell by Rs 1.30 to Rs 252.90 per kilogram on Tuesday, as traders pared down positions amid a subdued trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), August delivery contracts dropped Rs 1.30 or 0.51% to Rs 252.90 per kg, with an open interest of 4,692 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to reduced demand from consuming industries, which led participants to scale back their holdings.
