India, July 16 -- Aluminium prices slipped by 70 paise to ?248.80 per kilogram in futures trading on Wednesday, as traders reduced their positions amid a sluggish trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium futures for August delivery dropped 0.28%, or 70 paise, to ?248.80 per kg, with 1,525 lots traded.
According to analysts, the decline in prices was primarily driven by reduced demand from consuming industries, prompting participants to cut down their positions.
